First Aid Course
First Aid At Work – 18 hours
This 3 day first aid at work course is for individuals intending to act as a First Aider at Work. The course will provide attendees with the skills and knowledge necessary to give effective life support, diagnose and treat injuries and illness and maintain care and comfort of the casualty. On successful completion of this course, the delegate will receive a certificate valid for 3 years.
First Aid at Work Re-Qualification - 12 hours
This course is available to a designated First Aider who currently holds a First Aid at Work certificate. This course should be undertaken within 3 months of the certificate expiring and no more than 28 days after expiry.
Emergency First Aid at Work - 6 Hours
This 1 day training course is for individuals who are required to act as an Emergency First Aider at Work with the emphasis on preventing situations from becoming worse and maintaining life until help arrives.
Annual Update - 3 Hours
The HSE strongly recommends that both Emergency First Aiders at Work and First Aiders at Work undergo this 3 hour first aid refresher training course annually to ensure they are up to date with current procedures and to keep their knowledge and skills fresh.
First Aid for Sports injuries - 16 Hours
As an approved Scottish Football Association training organisation, this course is designed with sports coaches in mind teaching skills that will come in handy within a sports environment.
AED Users Course - 3 Hours
Our Automated External Defibrillation (AED) courses are delivered in accordance with the current Resuscitation Council guidelines and will enable delegates to become competent in the use of an AED. You will learn the appropriate response to different emergency situations and become confident when the use of an AED is necessary.
